Do’s and Don’ts in Nara Hari Dham
Do’s are as follows:
- Pay obeisance to your Ishta Daivam before you start planning for the visit.
- Book/Plan your travel and accommodation in Nabadwip Dham well in advance.
- Bathe in the Ganges and wear clean clothes before take part in Ashram Activities.
- Observe absolute silence and always chant “Hari Nam”, inside the temple.
- Respect ancient customs and usages while at the Ashram.
- Respect and promote religious sentiments among co-pilgrims.
- Deposit your offerings only in the Dana Patra or in Office.
- Wear a tilak in accordance with your religious affiliation.
- Follow the procedures of the temple as directed by the Ashram Authorities.
Don’ts are as follows:
- Don't Come to Ashram for any purpose other than worshiping the Lord.
- Don't Carry much jewellery and cash with you.
- Don't Wear footwear in and around the premises of the temple.
- Don't Approach touts for accommodation.
- Don't Eat non-vegetarian food or consume liquor or other intoxicants and smoke while in Ashram.
- Don't Commit any act of violence or harshness in the temple premises.
- Don't Encourage beggars.
- Don't Spit or be a nuisance inside the temple premises.
- Carrying of weapons & ammunition is prohibited
